today was kind of a frustrating day (although I got to have lunch with Rob, which was nice)…so…I decided to cheer myself up by drawing fictional characters I like as anthropomorphic animals, naturally
i really have no explanation anymore for some of my life decisions
Sneak peek from a new project/product I hope to be able to unveil soon. I’m very excited to show more……
A few recent icon commissions (and the characters belong to their respective owners, of course). If you would like to buy an icon, they are 11$ each– send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org , I would be happy to draw for you!
Bunny characters by J and I (hers are marked with an asterisk), and bunnies based on my friends…I started this last week but just got a chance to finish today. I didn’t get a chance to do everyone I wanted…I want to make more bunnies of friends.
Row 1: Seizaru*, Kikaku, Yakazaru* (?possible name?)
Row 2: Shirou, Waruichi, Milokey
Row 3: Becca, me, Rob
Row 4: Clawsu, Coey, Shy
Row 5: Justine, J, R
I hope you enjoy, and if you’re a friend of mine who doesn’t have a bunny yet, just let me know what you want your colors/markings/features/fashion style to be and I’ll do my best!
I made a new character- a bunny named Kikaku, and I’m working on a mini art project featuring him (which isn’t even close to done). I showed my friend J and she made a friend for him named Seizaru, and I drew this up this evening.
Kikaku (on the left) likes fast food and homicide. Seizaru (on the right) likes hitting things and being mean. Cathode (the big monster) is an old character of mine, but obviously based on J’s aesthetics, so credit where credit is due there. I’m excited to explore more of these guys’ world… it’s been a long time since I’ve done anthro stuff; I really like this kind of super-cute/chibi aesthetic a lot
EDIT: I forgot to ask! I’m always looking for ways to improve my work- while this image is essentially finished, if you have any critique that you think could help me out with further work, I’d absolutely love to hear it, whether it’s in regard to shading, inks, color choices, anything! Thank you so much in advance!
I was feeling down about my art, so I drew this to be a bit more adventurous and do new things. Trying out something that feels closer to what I want my art to be, but which I’m always nervous to try…well…I’m proud of it even if it’s small
just a tiny self-portrait – however I don’t have this hoodie IRL (I wish), nor do I have giant monster hands or a devil tail (except for the one Lenalis crochet’d for me)
Finished trades with folks….hope you guys enjoy! Thanks to those of you who let me (literally) butcher your characters.
If you’d like to buy something like this (it doesn’t have to include gore… I was just in a gore-y mood yesterday) email me at email@example.com! These are 11$USD each. I would absolutely love to draw for you!
Random doodle which will probably remain forever unfinished; wtf is up with that mink?? Had a bit of fun trying to give some ‘character’ to the tentacles, though
Still playing with this logo- thanks so much to those who offered advice! You are all rock stars to me!!! I changed the text/straightened the bottom of the creature a bit, and did some variations- which of these do you like best? And for the one you like best, are there any things you’d change/fix?
Boyoshock pointed out that the swords looked like crosses, so it’s very likely that this will be changed if I end up going with that design. I have nothing against religion or anything but that sort of iconography is not something I want to incorporate into this…
I’m leaning towards the first one, with the drips…perhaps it’s the most simple and the least adventurous, but, truthfully I like it quite a bit…followed by the swords (post de-crossing)
